On March 3rd, North West posted several TikTok videos of herself and her friends dancing to Ice Spice’s hit single “In Ha Mood.”
The 16-year-old singer, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, said she “just met” Ice Spice and that she was “literally screaming” with gratitude. She added that Ice Spice’s personality made her stand out among other young artists by being both sweet and funny at once.

Rap star Drake, who has also collaborated with PinkPantheress, joined North and her friends to shoot some TikTok videos. One video was set to her song ‘In Ha Mood’ while another focused on their collaboration with La La Anthony called ‘Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2.’
On Friday (March 3), North and Kim’s joint TikTok account shared videos that quickly went viral. In them, North and Kim lip-sync to the song and then dance in various settings. Ice Spice even makes an appearance midway through one video to act out its lyrics alongside them!

American pop singer Selena Gomez has joined Afrobeats star Rema for a remix of his hit song “Calm Down.” This marks the first time Selena and Rema will collaborate since their special feature on Coldplay’s “Let Somebody Go” last October.
After meeting at Rema’s Rave & Roses tour, Gomez and Rema decided to collaborate on an Afrobeats-inspired song. She teased her impending collaboration by posting a video of herself hugging Rema backstage.
On Friday, August 26, Gomez is set to release a remix featuring her vocals over Rema’s beat. This addition to global music shows how Afrobeats have gained more international recognition thanks to American artists’ influence.
