Martinez and Berry first met on the set of Dark Tide in 2010; three years later they tied the knot and welcomed a son into their union named Macaeo Robert. Now living in Los Angeles with their son Macaeo Robert, these two are happily married.

In 2012, he and Berry became embroiled in an intense custody battle with Gabriel Aubry, the father of Nahla – their daughter. During this dispute, he is said to have struck Aubry twice, giving him two black eyes as well as multiple broken ribs.

In 2012, Berry and Martinez were able to settle their differences through a divorce settlement. According to the final custody agreement, both parents share equal custody of their daughter.

Though they have yet to officially announce their separation, both parties appear to be prioritizing their young family. Last week, they were seen leaving LAX with little Nahla cuddling up to Martinez.
